The Long Regency
The Long Regency was a period during the Kingdom of Erikadia's history after the death of the hairless King Rothan VII. The Kingdom fell to the rule of Richar Burken who took the title Lord Regent. During his rule he claimed to be waiting for the true king to appear but was infact taking that time to cement his rule. The Kingdom was already in decline and centralized rule retracted only to the northern Provinces, with the rest of the kingdom left to fend for itself.
