Royal Companie of Goldsmiths and Assayers

The Royal Companie of Goldsmiths, Assayers, and Allied Trades is one of the most prosperous guilds in Erikadia. They were based out of Erikadia City. They were founded with a Royal Charter, and are the premier buyers, sellers, and producers of gold in the Kingdom of Erikadia, and are charged with the testing of currencies, and monitoring the movement of gold across borders. Eventually the guild began to act as the national bank, storing peoples gold for them and giving them receipts that could be cashed in at other guild outposts.

Structure

The guild is organized into regional guild halls that are over seen by a Warden of the Hall, and a council of the Grand Master who take up various roles such as clerk, lower wardens, and assistants. The Warden if the guild hall in Erikadia City also acts as the Royal Grand Master of the entire Companie, and is assited by a Court of Assistants made up of all the Wardens.
