Clans of Joen
Group of Dwarven Clans settled in the north of Joene Mountains.
Structure
The Clans of Joen is made ups of 8 different dwarven clans. These clans each make their homes in separate halls, though they all swear their fealty to the King of the Joen who is elected by the clan lords. Each clan fields its own army, and takes care of its own internal affairs.
Public Agenda
The Clans of Joen are united in one purpose, that is to defend their homes, and extend their domain across the entire Joene mountain range. This puts them in conflict with the Copasho who occupy the southern Joene Mountains.
History
The first clans united in response to the threat of a Red Dragon , that had come into the region several hundred years ago. After the alliance was successful in fighting the Dragon off, they decided to keep themselves united.

The total population of the Clans in total is around 75,000 dwarves. Each dwarven clan, and its total population is listed below.
Kophen Clan: The largest of the 8 Clans of Joene, with 15,000 dwarves.
Toogen Clan: 13,000 dwarves
Lopden Clan: 12,000 dwarves
Kaditen Clan: 10,000 dwarves
Turgen Clan: 10,000 dwarves
Hamisen Clan: 9,000 dwarves
Kurren Clan: 9,000 dwarves
Polpen Clan: 6,000 dwarves
Territories
The Clans of Joen claim the entirety of the Joene Mountains on the western coast of Ariankoz.
Military
Each clan fields its own army, with the total force numbering somewhere around 10,000 soldiers at full strength, though this force is rarely on the field all at once.
The clans take shifts in manning the various outposts and forts on the borders of the clans territory.
