The Praepolleo Dynasty
The Praepolleo Dynasty has a troubled history. It was founded near the end of the Indomitus Crusade by the Primarch Reborn himself to find passages through the The Cicatrix Maledictum and reestablish contact with whatever systems they could reach from the passages they could find.
Lord Almabert Diocles made his way from the Sol system to Ilyxis through the Rift aboard the Sovereign Venture , but he did not survive the journey. The highest ranking surviving petty officer took over command of the ship, and laid claim to the dynasty's warrant of trade. While his right to bear the title of rogue trader has been questioned more than once, none can deny the impact on morale the Dynasty's arrival has had upon the beleaguered populace of the Ilyxis Sector . In part because of their heroic entrance, the Dynasty has so far remained free of attempts at dissolution.
