Zindarra
The capital city of Zantia and once the very heart of a grand empire. It stands upon the southern end of a vast ridge of mountains with a fortified palace overlooking the surrounding plains into which the city has grown over centuries. A wide and navigable river cuts through the city providing Zindarra with a thriving inland port and extensive trade opportunities.
The city on the slopes of the ridge is ancient, palatial and luxurious. The city on the plains and around the river is cramped and stricken with poverty. People of all nations mingle here to conduct trade both legal and illicit.
