Belmadu
The current Emperor of Zantia, Belmadu is old before his time and keeps himself insulated from harsh reality in his palatial court, surrounded by his courtiers, his many concubines and as much food and drink as he can lavish upon himself.
As a result Zantia is in a poor state and its various provinces are being run by local noblemen of varying degrees of loyalty to the emperor.
