Castval, the twin elvish kingdoms, Nelran of the Wood elves and what is now known as Vaelindor "The Vanished Haven". They fell two centuries ago.
Current Species & Cultures
The primarily human nation of Gorundia, which is a breakaway from the Great Empire: The Khorovisk Dominion. Gorundia is a land of noble knights, and all the perils that feudalism brings with it. Well intended, dynamic and growing, they willingly took in the elvish diaspora.
The Khorovisk Dominion has waxed and waned in power over the centuries, Gorundia's hard-fought independance is still a point of burning contention, as is loosing the recent war to them 30 years ago.
The Warlord of the Great forest. Literally a new power, the goblins have come under the sway of Kursk, former disciple of Theron Sylvanranth. He talks of creating a free land for all the halfbloods, and any who would be free of kings and emperors.
Needs & Relations
The Dominion seeks to regain lost territory, but they are not the power they once were.
Gorundia seeks to help the elves return to their kingdom, with a long term goal of alliance, but have to be wary of showing weakness to the eastern border with the Dominion.
The elves wish to restore their kingdom, but cannot do it without outside aid, a point of shame for these proud folk for whom the loss is within living memory.
The dwarves of the Aracar mountains have been in isolation since the uprising of the goblins.
There are gnomish settlements in the hills in the frontier that may find the shady nature of their relatives to the east shocking...
The mighty Qazaq hordes seek to keep the frontier as a free and unclaimed land, but will ally with the Warlord... for now.
The Warlord desires a nation for the halfbloods to be free, and rule themselves, not having to fight from the margins of society for dignity and strength.
