The Realms Treaty


 

A treaty has been put in place by the first travellers in order that all five realms can work together as one people.

The current content of the treaty is listed below, and is expected to be refined and extended each year to reflect the wants and views of all five realms into a lasting working relationship. A regular review of the treaty will be undertaken each Autumn to keep the agreement agreeable to the current situation.

 

The people of the higher realms may reside upon the land of the Folkvargr, establishing their own camps
  • The Gods and Realm Leaders will reside at Eio, nearest to the Bifrost and the Folkvargr Shrine.
  • Other contingents from all four higher realms may travel through to the other Folkvargr settlements to render aide and bolster defences.
  •  

    The people of the higher realms may have access to magical training in the runic arts of the Folkvargr
  • Folkvargr representatives may travel through the bifrost to the higher realms to teach the basics to those who have the will to weild runic magic.
  • Assitance can be provided to those who wish to learn more than the basics, from those in Eio who have ascented to teach.

    The people of the higher realms will be given Resources produced by the Folkvargr Runesmiths at set intervals throughout the year
  • As standard, in normal conditions, 2 Runes of random strength will be provided to those of the higher realms to aide in the defence of the land, three times a year in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
  • Additional Resources can be negotiated for recognised individuals of all 5 realms Camp Status. Type and quatity determined by yearly situation.
  • (OC NOTE: Additional Runes from skills (Extra Runes are considered to be left overs from what you make/acquire 'between events' and are not currently subject to IC negotiations)

     

    The people of the higher realms will be given the opportunity to trade resources with the Folkvargr
  • Folkvargr will trade Shards for other resources in order for the peoples to create their own Runes for their own for use.
  • An exchange of resources, namely Wood, Metal and Animal products may be conducted for the benefit of all.
  •  

    The people of the higher realms will be subject to Folkvargr law whilst they reside on Folkvargr lands
  • The higher realms will be expected to carry out their own justice within their own camps, unless it involved harm to a Folkvargr.
  • Folkvargr wil respect and obey realm laws in addition to the Folkvargr own, whilst they are within a realm's camp.
  •    
    The people of the higher realms are expected to assist in the scouting and defence of the Folkvargr settlements.
  • Each realm will be responsible to patrols of the local area in order to distrupt and prepare for enemy attacks
  • Clan Service with the Folkvargr Guard can be undertaken in addition to realm patrols, in exhange for additional rewards
