Automata
Automata make up the building blocks of Svart society, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Their construction is one of the most well guarded secrets in all the nine realms, and jealously kept by the Anvil of Baledzig.
Surtvogn
The most seen Automata are the Surtrvogn (pronounced 'Surt-von'). These hulking rhino sized automata pull the carriages that take Svarts to and from the various cities, using the roads that where carved into the surrounding landscape providing both efficient and safe travel. This allow’s for the Svarts to travel in safety away from the Dire creatures of the wilderness that would otherwise stalk them.
Drones
These are resource gathering automata, which look like metallic Svarts standing at approximately 6ft. They can appear sentient but all function off of limited commands coded into their cores, all for the purpose of harvesting food from fields, or mining resources from mines, and similar purposes.
Leviathan
These are largest of the Automata standing at over 50ft. These colossus where used in the creation of Svart Cities, with most of them now standing guard at the entrances of the Cities they helped create. Only a handful of these are still in active use which are being used by the current Forge to carve into Mount Mernrhia for reasons only known to him.
Custodians
Out of all the Automata that have been made, there is only one which was made solely for Combat, and that is the Custodians. They stand at 10ft tall, covered in metal scales, with a similar stature as that of a silverback Gorilla. These walking weapons patrol the fields and mines and protect the Drones from Dire creatures and human Stalkers. They’re armour is strong enough to withstand the crushing jaws of Dire wolves and bears and weigh enough that the ground shakes when they walk past.
