One of Mic Elmond's bandit henchmen, Carl and his brother, Tuk, invaded the Salvage Hawks' abode in the middle of the night looking for a part for their truck that was shot up. Barred legal entry to RidgeTown, the pair snuck in and gained entry to the Hawks' garage. Both Carl and Tuk died in the fight. It was amongst the pairs effects, both personal and in their stowed cart truck, that the party found the maps that have given them so much grief.
