Stillwater Sound

The massive bay in the centre of Beru known for its calm waters and gentle nature. Any storms are stopped by the barrier islands known as Splinter Atoll making sailing here a delight. The Sound is often used as a transportation route for trade between the Kingdom of Breaton & the Driston Empire.

Farre & Kulap are the two largest settlements that rest on the coastline, both being trade ports for their respective countries. Due to the importance of the Sound the Kingdom of Breaton & the @Dristsigned in 1242, this stated that Stillwater Sound would remain a neutral area and no conflict would be permitted here in perpituity.
