Oxbow

Far in the north of Beru is the port town of Oxbow. This was once a bustling port for the Kingdom of Breaton but during the War of Tears it suffered great devistation during in invasion by the Driston Empire, it has never quite recovered.

Demographics

Those who dwell here have an affinity for the sea. Before the war the town was a prospering hub for fishing and trade supplying the Kingdom and trading with the Driston Empire. After the explosion that sunk a portion of the island, it has not recovered to its former glory and is now a haven for criminals and lowlifes seeking to escape the watchful eye of the mainland.

Government

Despite having a Minister appointed by Stockcross to oversee its redevelopment, Oxbow has been left to fall behind the rest of the Kingdom and has a reputation for corruption and illegal activites.
