Personal history

Born to an unknown father and mother Hildingr rose through the ranks of his families bandit gang until the age of 26 when he challenged and slew his father in single combat for leadership. In the battle Hildingr fought with strange magic that increased his size and combat ability. Glowing with runes carved in his native tounge of Giant he set forth a series of swift, devestating strikes and toppled his Giantblood father in less than a minute.
After claiming a wife at age 30 he quickly set about enshrining his name in history by sieging the town of Tessin for three years, retreating each winter in an attempt to starve the residents out. This ultimatly failed when a champion of Alo fought Hildingr's three best fighters killing them all causing the rest of the gang to flee into the hills.
By the age of 43 Hildingr had his first son Haldr, a strong and capable child skilled in every weapon imaginable, but favouring the greatsword.
Haldr would grow to become his fathers second in command
His second son Ivin was less skilled in combat but excelled in spellcrafting. Showing talent in weaving nature to his will Ivin was never able to beat his brother in a fight singlehanded, but could change his shape into beasts of the land to aid in his spellcasting.
Hildingr would have his first daughter whom he would name Inga. She would leave the gang not long after her 22nd name day
Four years after Inga was born Hildingr was blessed with a fourth child, a third son he would name Gelthin. This son would show potential as a fighter from a young age but was also gifted in minor magics. It seemed that Gelthin was blessed by Gelbrand having an unmatched talent for carving figures from all materials.
