Fort Einheart
A small keep built on the Breaton-Driston border by the Driston Empire in 925. This small keep guarded a route into the lands south of Areguá from raids by Breaton forces during the War of Tears. The castle was abandoned in 1229 after Breaton forces seiged and undermined the castle walls rendering it undefendable.
Purpose / Function
The fort was built atop a hill flanked by two small rivers in a valley that led into the western lands of the Driston Empire to defend against invading armies or roving bandit groups.
Originally intended to be a simple lookout structure with a small footprint the relative remoteness of the fort demanded this plan be abandoned shortly after construction began in 920 resulting in the complexer buildings.
