Ruins of Bem Moldur

The once-great dwarven fortress of Bem Moldur rests here on the shores of the Dungueil Ocean, victim of an ancient war between the dwarves' first kingdom and the combined human and gnomish armies emerging from the Dawnlight Prairie to exact revenge upon the Moldurian dwarves for their violent attacks on what the dwarves considered "lesser races." It lies in ruins, and though some still visit it to pay respects to those who died, the wind, rains, and tide carry more of its history into the sea each year. The fortress has not been memorialized as the sites of some similar historical battles have been, because the hill dwarves whose kingdom rose up in Bem Moldur's place regard that period of their history with deep and entirely appropriate shame.
