Kashrussas

Deep in the mangrove forests of the Axirsi Wilderness lies the capital of the Yuan-Ti civilization which was annexed by the Chatia Empire within a century of its founding. None now know why the Yuan-Ti allied so easily, whether it was due to the overwhelming military forces possessed by Konophar Chathya's children, the rapid assimilation of other nearby kingdoms into the Empire, or for some esoteric reason of their own. Regardless of why, Kashrussas has been part of the Imperium since 47 IA, yet it remains predominantly occupied by Yuan-Ti, Grung, and other natives of the Axirsi Wilderness, and is ruled by its Clutchmaster with only minimal interference from New Solaria. Perhaps the city owes its relative independence to the Yuan-Ti's fearsome (and slanderous, the snake-people insist) reputation as cannibals.
Kashrussas primarily exports rice, cocoa, and other tropical food crops. Additionally, cultural artifacts, archaeological finds from the depths of the Axirsi, and scale-woven armor draw high prices from collectors across the globe.
