Gnomes
The gnomes are the fine craftsmen that have assembled within the dwarven communities, no one is quite sure where or whence they came.* The gnomes are just there, they exist to serve within the dwarven empire of Notharak. Within this empire they are treated well enough, most of the race falls firmly within the guild artisan social class. They are pretty similar to the halflings, in the sense that they handle the mined resources that the dwarves produce.
