Elda - Elves

Elda (elves), is the general term for any elf, but also is used to describe the time before the Elda grew into two different ideologies, creating two very different people, the Varda'Elda and the Tawar'Elda. Though both consider themselves a part of Ardaranyë, that which is commonly called the Kingdom of the Elda.

The Firstborn

Though there is some question to the veracity of the claim, the Elda believe themselves to be the Firstborn, the first sentient race to be created by the gods. The cradle of their civilization begins in the Forest of Farol, a large forest near the Iron Mountains.

Varda'Elda (Wood Elves)

Curiosity is one of the stronger traits of the Varda'Elda. They are more emotional by nature, and far less aloof. Their tastes tend towards the simple life of the forest. Most Varda'Elda make their home in the Forest of Farol.

Tawar'Elda (High Elves)

The Tawar'Elda tend to stand apart. They are typically seen as aloof observers. Their tastes tend towards high refinement and intricate arts, though their bond with their forests remains as strong as ever. The Tawar'Elda make their home in Gala'miel, also called "The City of Lights."
