Yldaris, The Training ground of Heroes
Legends, these are what many adventurers seek to become but only the rare few will ever achieve such a status, one thing each of those legendary heroes has in common is that they all at one point or another trained in Yldaris. The legends themselves are vague on what exactly Yldaris is but most refer to it as the training ground of heroes. Some of the few more detailed legends say that anyone who finds the Yldaris will undergo trials to prepare themselves and unlock the greatness within themselves or their destiny will be revealed to them. Yldaris appears on no maps and despite being famous for giving training and guidance to great heroes of legend in the past none of the people who have been there reveal its location instead offer only hints to those who seek it letting those worthy to start training there find their way.
Yldaris (Yl-Dhar-Is) is in some respects a monastery or academy that is populated largely by Goliaths, but they are far from discriminating when it comes to race. So long as someone is strong and determined enough to find the hidden grounds, they are welcome. As to where the training grounds are many assume a hard to reach place with trials and tribulations on the way to Yldaris before the training even truly begins. It is possible that the heroes could stumble into these trials without even being aware they are being tested.
