Concubus

A concubus is one of the most feared things for Satyr of Belthuran for it is what the followers of Baaphora wish to inflict on them. A Concubus is a complicated creature as they are a hybrid of Fey and Fiend in the same way that their creator is, while they are very similar to Incubi and Succubi they have their peculiarities. A Concubus has only ever been formed by taking a Satyr and exposing them to heights of hedonism that strain the mind to even comprehend, when the Satyr can take no more their soul escapes the body only to be trapped in a thin black crystal which is then placed into the body somewhere. This crystal corrupts the soul by adding fiendish essence from Baaphora itself, while the soul is changed so too is the body warping them to bear the resemblance of Baaphora but retain some marks of individuality. Baaphora wants others to be able to recognize their new follower. While many believe that a mark of their fiendish cruelty the more learned and those not Satyrs themselves will often say that such cruelty goes against what is known of Baaphora.
The fiends known as Incubus and or Succubus are known to steal the soul of those they seduce a concubus has the same end goal but they want you to willingly give your soul. They will offer all manner of temptations to get it but will not forcefully take it.
A peculiarity among the Incubus and Succubus is that their gender matters little, a male could be a Succubus or a female an Incubus the distinction comes more from the style of their personality. Incubus are far more aggressive and dominant while succubus appears more submissive and while that is an act to hide their predatory hunger that is the real distinction between the two within Belthuran. A Concubus is either they are hermaphrodite and wear their hedonistic ways on their proverbial sleeves, while they can be no less insidious or directly dominant they are largely more interested in spreading Baaphora's hedonism and gathering souls for their harems.
A Concubus can be difficult to find out should they wish to remain hidden, they are native to the material plane but their essence still returns to Baaphora's realm if defeated only to reform and return. They can alter their forms with only a True Seeing spell able to determine their true appearance. They are not allergic to any type of metal but Cold Iron does penetrate their hides easier. Usually, only divine senses can alert someone to their present but owing to their hybrid nature it only alerts the user that they are different. Their ability to hide in plain sight means one of their favorite places to be is in a brothel, some more unscrupulous brothel owners may even attempt to summon Concubi to serve as their workers. While some would have you believe that every brothel has several of the fiends the likely hood of that is low, mostly those who already had a problem with such work use the remote possibility as further cause to justify their stance.

Baaphoran Tieflings are among the more common as Concubus are created from Satyrs crossbreeding can occur. Rumors abound that the mortal parent of such a Tiefling forfeits their soul in the process of producing this offspring. Like many matters relating to the soul, the truth of it is unknown.
