Scope
The motivation behind building Bellyem
What motivated me to write this world was all the creations, films, art and books i've been surrounded by since i was little. i'm a poorly organised person, so it took me a long time to gather my ideas and link them together. i wanted to create a world of my own where my imagination could take refuge.
I'd like people to be able to immerse themselves in my world and pick up on the mysteries and clues I leave here and there. There are several underlying messages that denounce the creation of stories.
This world is full of references to works that have had an impact on me. It may not be the most original, but it brings me joy when it's created, so that's all that matters :)
The goal of the project
The aim with Bellyem is to lay the foundations for the universe in which I'd like to write a main story that takes place over 300 years. We'll be able to follow a central character who has everything to learn about the world after years of captivity. Through this project, I'd like to convey the beauty of the world as well as all its ugliness and cruelty.
