The elves push the orcs out of the Central Plains, which led to the war that reduced the orcs and dragulin to nomadic peoples.

The elven forces attacked the orcs, who lived in the Central Plains. Having conquered the Plains, the elves considered themselves the greatest force on Belkora. Meanwhile, the orcs were pushed into the territory of the dragonborn, leading to warfare that would eventually turn the land into what is now known as the Western Desert. Many scholars denote this as the end of the Classical Age and the beginning of the Elven Age. This also is a major reason why orcs have such a hatred towards elf kind.
