Bayport
Bayport Massachusetts is located on the east coast between Gloucester and Newburyport, not far from Essex, Ipswich, Innsmouth and the like. It is located on Barmet Bay, a horsehoe shaped bay and harbor reaching the Atlantic about three miles from the city.
Infrastructure
There is a steamship terminal in town. There is a large railroad station, serving as a hub for the lines going north to Ipswich and Newburyport, south to Gloucester, west to Essex and beyond, to Arkham, Salem and Beverly, and eventually Boston.
Districts
Northern Bayport - the rich part of town, old houses on the hills, some overlooking the bay.
Downtown - businesses, shops, and so on; respectable, though this is next to the waterfront, and there is overlap.
South Bayport - this is the slums, by the rail yards.
