Session 83-84: Fast Flying Sticks

General Summary

15th Proviso

• Use Speak with Dead on dead Tiefling, Derakia.
• Attacking the city because they deserve it. Leader is Gratitude. Plan is an equal future with us at the helm. Location of their leader is at Taraka's Fortress.
• Head to garrison and speak to Deliverance, former leader of the Equilibrium.
• Equilibrium aim to reset the balance and gain equal power at the seat of the elders.
• Speaks to Penitence in infernal and says to keep his friends close as Mordekai will come for us all.
• He doesn't know what compatriots are doing and he's powerless to stop it.
• Deliverance lunges to bite Peni, then turns into a devil.
• Deal with devil and skeletions before doors get opened.
• Devil Commands Rel; Liv dispels the magic.
• Get taken to mess hall after, speak to guard captain Zuri and tell what we've learned.
• Deliverance was believed to not have magic.
• Head to Sanctum and speak to Elien, ask for help to check archives for Taraka's Fortress, Gratitude, anything on the magic we're facing and Mordekai.
• Head back to Sand's Heart
• Rel talks to Istador about the Equilibrium; there were deaths from their "antics", they marched in Northern Ward, dragged drow from their houses. Became a brawl; 14 died that day.
• Robyn goes for walk and finds the symbols of equilibrium around similar to Northern ward. Touches them and finds empty space behind. Tries a couple of others but no items or messages.

16th Proviso

• In morning, Peni speaks to Drala and gets directions to Fire Giant fortress.
• Dhaer can meet us this evening; agree to meet him at the front.
• Find another mark en route to the front; Peni uses mage hand, Robyn touches it again, Liv users Detect Magic; school of illusion and a magic unfamiliar but signature also on Robyn.
• Check the large symbols; just graffiti.
• Late morning reach the front, discuss situation with Var'yan, no further waves so far.
• Robyn feels sleepy and like going to sleep would be a good idea; she resists. Dispel magic doesn't work. Get tied up before going to sleep as she's worried about getting possessed.
• Deep voice speaks to her in her sleep, first in infernal then a language she does understand.

• Speak to Deliverance at the garrison; bites Penny and turns into a devil.
• Ask Elien for any information on Taraka's Fortress and Mordekai.
• Robyn finds symbols of the Equilibrium around; believes them to be dead drops but nothing behind them.
• Succumbs to sleep where Mordekai answers her accidental call.
