Lich Please

  • In the Feywild: We accidentally helped Ry'thera become a Lich.
  • The Feyess has tangled with a lich before, but not alone; she advises not to engage with one if it can be avoided.
  • Abyssal message carved in the altar in his lair - "Zua’garr provides, his contagion will spread, his influence grow, and you shall be rewarded".
  • Saman remembers this being spoken by the Trogolidites in the Underdark while they were leaving.
  • We think Ry'thera may be looking for a tablet for Zua'garr, but it has been stolen by the Night Mother.
  • In the Underdark: We found Ry'thera in the Underdark at House Daegoth where he turned the whole populace to stone using magic devices. Speculated that he may have been preserving bodies to raise an undead army.
  • Ry'thera plane shifted to escape us when he found us sneaking around House Daegoth. He's now immune to non-magical damage and has some serious firepower. Mer'kyra is also with him as an undead fighter
  • In The Petrified Forest: Ry'thera took the form of a Grung Druid, Andromeda, manipulating Grandmother's memories to ingratiate himself in the forest, and then joined us South as we investigated the source of strange magic. The creature, an Avatar of Zua'garr, was pulled into the material plane and killed.
  • At the Temple of Zua'garr under Aroc's Peak, Ry'thera was doing something to gain the power of the Avatar of Zua'garr from its corpse (that Ry'thera had recovered from where we left it). The Council of Krikek asked us to drive Ry'thera away, which we did.
  • Ry'thera later obliterated Krikek - first with only kenku survivors, second (after a timely warning), mostly military casualities where it seemed the city had managed to evacuate
  • Ry'thera has control of Skyrriht and could eavesdrop via Sending Bracelets
  • Ry'thera also appeared to have done the same at Eskerra
  • Mer'kyra's glaive was siphoning souls for Ry'thera (confirmed by Khajid when checking for curses or similar).
