Caine Stormwalker (Morleth)

A talented healer, Caine trained extensively at the Arcane Academy. His family would have preferred he stay there, but he was inspired to join the Skirmishers to be a more active force in the field, expanding his practical application of many schools of magic, and be there to save Skirmishers as soon as possible rather than wait until they were brought back to Bastion (or, as often happened, were not able to be brought back to Bastion at all).
Caine had been in the Skirmishes for several years before being assigned to the squad that would eventually become the Stormwalkers. When they earned their Name, Caine bore it proudly, again to his family's exasperation, but Caine found his service more rewarding than any of the machinations his family were involved in amongst elven society.
Caine was killed in action near the Deep after a fiend took control of his mind, forcing him to attack his squad. The killing blow was initially reported as dealt by his captain, Huw Stoneshield, but Robyn later learned from Madoc that Stoneshield issued the order, and Madoc took the blow.
