Silvermoon Elf Tree Homes
It is the very nature of elves to live in harmony with nature, and the homes of my people in the Silvermoon Forest are created with this in mind. Nearly all elven dwellings are elevated in the strongest branches of the trees, which the druids carefully shape with their magic so that the trees come to no harm. Vines and branches make up the bridges and ladders over which we travel, and all of the Silvermoon people work together to assure the health and well being of each living thing.

Purpose / Function
These are homes to the majority of the elven people in the Silvermoon Forest.
Entries
Most homes have two entries/exits, on opposite walls from each other. The doors are made of thickly woven vines, and there are no locks.
Sensory & Appearance
Walking into an elven home is almost like walking into a tree itself, with the scents one might expect from a forest. Lighting in these homes is from glow stones, which are magically enchanted to give off light without the threat of starting a fire.
Contents & Furnishings
The elves find little need for many personal possessions, and so most homes contain few things beyond pillows and small furnishings. Toys can be found in households where there are children, and there is always a place for weapons and armor for those who might use them. One can usually find books in these homes as well, as most elves enjoy the pasttime.
Alterations
Alterations are occasionally made to individual homes when needed, usually only to accommodate the growth, or sometimes the natural decay, of the trees and vines from which they are created.
Architecture
The homes are incorporated into the trees themselves, created from the branches and vines that grow there naturally. Druids start the process by using magic to carefully shape them into a utilitarian shape that will not harm the trees and how they grow. Roofs are made mostly of vines, intricately woven to prevent rain and snow from inundating those who dwell beneath them.
Most homes have no more than two or three rooms, with the living area being the largest and most utilized room. There is usually a small alcove utilized as a kitchen, and shelves are used for the storage of goods. The other rooms are bedrooms, usually small and containing only pillows for the purpose of rest and a small area for the storage of clothing and other possessions.

I really liked the "Sensory & Appearance" section, since there is no decoration description, it helps provide a mental image of how does the house feel.
Thank you! I appreciate the input!
