The divide worsened every day, until the tension snapped. When Vareth was going to murder the whole crew of a navy ship from the Faces of the King, Valentha stepped in defending the sailors. Valthrac, unable to side against either sibling, ended up making himself an enemy of both. The ensuing battle lasted 2 days. It left all three siblings injured and badly damaged their ships, not to mention the many deaths of the sailors on either side. It would come to be known as the Two Dawns Battle by the nearby islands.
