Session 68.5: The Captain of the Brackish Fleet: Scallywags
General Summary
Seeing the dragon brothers with with Vumpesh and Valentha go to head off to main ships of the Brackish fleet, Mila, Ilknar, Lady Sasha with Reginald Aldar, Captain Dwarf go more north, to reinforce the Pursuer and their draconic aims, but also to investigate these strange upsidedown boats, presumably flotsam, floating their way ever so closely to the Call, Lady Sasha reasons. At first, Reggie does not believe the crew, but they convince him to at least go close, and once close enough, it is quite apparent the boats have legs swimming along for them, slowly, stealthily making their way to the boat harbor, makeshift at best, for the Call and other damaged vessels.
When they are close enough, Reggie calls out for a crew to clear the flotsam, and Dosgratin, Mila, and Ilknar jump aboard three of the four rowboats, as Lady Sasha calls upon a draconic lightning burst from her maul, forcing a goblin from out of hiding, and he calls for arms. However, the others have already attacked, and soon above and below water, they fight a diverse crew, with different leaders popping aboard, focusing on Reggie and the other casters.
Ilknar raises the waves with a half dozen foes around him, and Mila faces off against trolls and sahuagin. Dosgratin and Sasha defend the dwarven axe, defend Reggie who now faces off against Captain Brand of the Brackish fleet, as well as another yuanti who faked an alliance to get aboard, closer to the the caster who froze half of their shipes upon the water.
