Session 49: Scallywags: The Aboleth Temple and A Dragon Turtle Sire

General Summary

Engaged with the telepathic and aquatic entity, this ancient god (self-proclaimed), for Aikhon challenged it for proof of its godhood. Yet, they were not prepared for the rising waters, for the allies of the depths to come in aid for this presumed god. They are already split between three rooms, hallways, doors, darkness and torch light that may also go out whenever the water rises. Crab-like aberrations grab onto Aikhon the beachhead, and other other creatures, reavers of the depths, attempt to skewer the dragonborn.
Valia jumps into the water, running from the orther room as this rise of water and monsters appear. She engages quickly with the aboleth entity, and she revs her magical weapon with deadly accuracy, but a great white shark appears to waylay, presumably allied to the aboleth itself, and other reavers attack her also as well. Roland comes to rescue Peanut and join the others out on this stone dock and cavern beach.
Ilknar and Mila, and Reddem and G, they continue inside, but they are surrounded by the reavers, and a larger crablike-one, too. They grapple and and punch, and G summons a magical first of force to stomp them away. Ilknar continues down a hallway, and he is met with the Sahguian, the shark people, while Mila and G, with Reddem, before he falls unconscious from a reaver attack later, push back the aberrations. Mila is attacked with reactive mucus from these fiends, and Aikhon is able to resist the flavor of their tentacled kiss. Another voice echoes in their minds, but it ceases when the earthquakes increase.
Earthquakes come to add warning and suspense, and it is not until the rise of a dark shadow beneath the cavern, this temple to this lost god, that Aikhon only notices, that he group sees this god had angered perhaps something greater... a dragon turtle. It seeks its egg. This causes, as well as Valia's presumed undeath, the aboleth to begin to retreat: they are no match for this ancient creature.
