Session 19: An Attempt and Parley, but Hook's a Slaver
General Summary
They are hailed by the Roger, the ship of Cpt. James T. Hook. His first mate Smee is able to help him convince the crew to meet aboard the Roger, and they will discuss a new business venture, protecting each other through the Seas of the Scions and enacting some revenge from Hook's and his crews past. They are able to arrive at an agreement of 50/50 for joint ventures, and smaller attacks with the Orcs military, 10% will be taken away. However, Smee is able to notice that Aikhon hears the slaves they are carrying to the orc lands below. This soon turns into a falsehood, a retracing of steps, for a 'lost' coin. This confusion lends a few moments more to verify the slaves below, and also a tea given by Smee. This tea is brought back aboard, and soon the cup is smashed aboard the deck, and a roar of fear is spread by Aikhon, with magical, illusions of thunder to aid--the signal for Skiff to begin the bombardment.
The sails are targeted, and soon destroyed aboard the Roger, and Cpt. Hook is brought into the water, his crocodile coming to his aid. Yet, Skiff is able to fend off the beast, and soon the Roger is being used for spare parts, its Captain and its crew decimated.
