Fells Point

Fells Point is the largest bar district in the city, with over two hundred bars and restaurants crammed into about twenty square blocks. It is one of the most active nightlife spots, and sprawls along the water on the East side of the city, many of the bars pressed right up against the water. Fells was an important part of the Harbor for much of the city's history, the place where sailing vessels would moor to offloand cattle, cargo, and slaves. There is a system of catacombs  beneath Baltimore meant to help transport these goods without clogging the street. Many of the entrances are in the basements of the bars along water; cargo used to be offloaded, taken across the street, and down under the city to be carted off to market.   In the modern nights it is the Domain of Corinthia Banner, Seneschal of the Primogen Council and High Priestess of the Bahari Temple in Baltimore. She manages the Domain with the help of Feargál Ó Rodagh, who operates out of Johns Hopkins, on the edge of the neigborhood. Johns Hopkins Hospital is one of the foremost medical centers in the world, and it brings much prestige to Fells Point as a Domain.   There is also a Changeling Freehold in Fells Point, feeding off the abundance of Glamour that comes from cramming so much mirth into one space. It is the seat of Countess Moon, ruler of the County of the Belt.

Umbral Landscape

Fells Point has recently undergone a cleansing by the Second Inquisition, who rooted out almost all of the vampires here. As such, the Umbra has become infested with Firedrakes, these choleric spirits drawn to the destruction of so many Kindred. They swarm over Fells. In the Umbra the whole neighborhood is burnt, singed. Lava pokes up through the ground, and heat shimmers in the air. These Firedrakes, while not necessarily bad, are wild, untamed. Their burning rage spills out over Fells, leading to a wild spiral of violent crime which has begun to attract Wyrmic Banes to the fringes of the area. They must be tamed and brought under control for service to any of the packs in the area in order to prevent their rage from burning too hot. The Fire Elementals also have their home here, and strike out against the Plastics in Vernon.
