The Tri-Tribe War

In the jungles and swamps of Zochakha there lives the three main tribes that make up the mosnterous population.   The Maka'nata Tribe; Powerful warriors and leaders who have few connections to magic or the voodoo that is commonly practiced in Zochakha. They are a paranoid and simple minded tribe but incredibly strong individuals who have a mind for combat and war strategy.   The Klue'zi'ra Tribe; Practitioners of magic and Zochakhan voodoo. Very devout to their gods and some to the Old gods. This tribe is known for their fondess for fortune telling and weird rituals that seem to work almost all the time. Not so much frontline fighters but the best enchanters of weapons and magic items Zochakha has to offer.   The Marr'balior Tribe; Rangers and Traders make up the southern coast of Zochakha. These individuals love their coin and treasure and will stop at nothing to get a better deal with their trading with the continent of Aramelgo.   In the capital city of Zochakha, Ponmery a cerimonial Battleaxe has been stolen from the common temple of prayer. This special Battleaxe was found in the heart of the temple which the city rests on. It has aided all the people of Zochakha with good harvest and deathless hunts. The current ruler of Zochakha Queen Bonku "The Wild" who comes from the Maka'nata tribe has started to accuse the Klue'zi'ra tribe for stealing the artifact for its magical powers. The Maka'nata tribe then fell into a lot of accusation due to the strength the Battleaxe can bring to the front lines. And of course eventually the Marr'balior tribe was put under the spot light becasue of the price such an artifact would fetch on the market.

The Conflict

Prelude

With the monthly religous migration of tribe leaders and elders making their way to Ponmery as they entered the Common Temple of Prayer the presence was immediately off. The elders noticed it first as the strong magical aura was no longer emitting from the temple. Rushing in to find an empty place of prayer.

Battlefield

All of the Eastern side of Zochakha has been at war. Only the holy city of Ponmery has not been tainted due to ancient and well respected laws written by the founders of Zochakha.

Outcome

So far the civil war between the tribes have had several repercussions. The first few months weren't too bad but then food and the wildlife got to certain tribes. Protection from other nations and continets started to thin.
