Golport
Just off the coast of the Nineveh Golport is a decent size capital. Nowhere near the size of Felldion, about 50,000 residents, but a respectable amount. Boats line the ivory coast docks everywhere. The temples and churches are all lined with statues and places to pray for the goddess Kava. This capital is much more democratic in nature with a free market. It truly is a jungle. Haggling is common even in the most pristine shops. There is a lower-middle and upper class, but anyone can make the miracle run from poor to riches in the land.
Golport is also known for "Bobbing Islands" that "bob" to the surface of the water in the Burous Sea. These islands can have vast treasure but it's a gamble as typically the tribute that has to be paid in order for safe passage can cost a significant amount compared to what is on the island. There is a 24 hour time limit on the islands and happend bi-weekly.
A couple main points of attraction are, The Brew Tavern™ which is a massive tavern famous for their different types of hard liquor, beer, mead. Most connoisseurs are literally floored by the most infamous of them all, the Taragon Phantom.
The Colossal Colosseum is a place where adventurers can make a quick buck fighting monsters from across the lands and even other same ranked adventurers. The payout is honestly not the best considering the consequences, however the clerics here are very good at what they do.
Speaking of clerics there is the giant Temple dedicated to Kava, goddess of the Seas, in Golport where the clerics take your prayers and interpret the amount of tribute for your specific voyage and prayer to Kava. This specific group of clerics, known as the
Government
A democratic goverment, but with a King instead.
