The popularity of "The One" was as massive as its size. "The One" like the other Old gods didn't always look so grotesque. However due to the decline of worshippers their celestial powers faded, along with their celestial bodies. Thus creating the horrid monsters they are now. "The One" was always worshipped as the strongest Old god and the one that would bestow pacts with mortals and make them warlocks.
