Princessa Lorina ran away to find Sir Vasilej, fearing for his safety. She was captured by the Warlock Knights and fell into a portal. Vasilej and the Bogatyr followed, finding themselves in the Astral Plane, 7,900 years in the future. Joining the Kolda, a crew of spacefaring adventurers, they freed the town of Yellowseed from a false hydra, defeated sea hags, attained immortality, and embarked on a quest to steal a solar dragon egg. Ivin became Vasilej's squire, adopting the name Ivin Starosta. During a three-way battle with pirates and mindflayers, Lorina was rescued. On their quest, the solar dragon forced Vasilej to return the egg in exchange for safe passage home. Reunited with Lorina, Ivin, and Vladis, Vasilej returned to Palischuk to find Bertryll had also survived, while Maksym remained in Yellowseed.

While Sir Vasilej and the Bogatyr were trapped behind enemy lines, Princessa Lorina grew worried and ran away to find him. When he returned, an enraged Knyaz Markus ordered the Bogatyr to retrieve her as the heiress of Palischuk. She would be tracked to a cave occupied by the Warlock Knights but would be thrown into a portal an enemy sorcerer.
  The Bogatyr would jump in after her but find Bertryll and Lorina missing. Vasilej would join the Kolda, a crew of space adventurers in the Astral Plane, and discover that they had travelled 7,900 years into the future. While members of the Kolda, the Bogatyr would free the town of Yellowseed from a false hydra's control, slay a coven of sea hags at an underwater cave, Maksym would stay behind to become the mayor of Yellowseed, set out on a quest to obtain a solar dragon egg for a space navy, and be granted immortality by an astral dragon. Ivin would become Vasilej's squire, being adopted into the House of Starosta by Vasilej to become Ivin Starosta.
  Hatching a plan with the Kolda's captain, Shoanna Jin, Lorina would be rescued from a crew of battle-hardened pirates called the Sea Dogs, as well as their mindflayer associates. During a three-way battle between clown pirates, the Sea Dogs, and the Kolda, the Kolda would steal the solar dragon's egg from her den. However, the dragon would stop the Kolda before they could escape, making a deal with Vasilej to return the egg and be able to return home with his Bogatyr and Lorina, or she would destroy the Kolda. Vasilej would return the egg, walking through yet another portal with Lorina, Ivin, and Vladis. Upon entering the cave, he find out Bertryll had been transported as well, though Maksym would remain in Yellowseed.
