Isr Ybröak
Since the early days when Obatna'Ra was planted, she needed care, attention and safety. She was, after all, a goddess, the very soul of the bog, the shimmer on the water and the countless colourful insects roaming the air. Thus, a few capable warriors forged an alliance to protect the sacred tree.
Structure
The organisation is built up of multiple branches, united under the same leaders. Similarly to the Orcs' government structure, they are lead by two leaders: the Chief of Rites and the Keeper.
The Defenfers are responsible for shielding the tree from any physical danger. They are capable fighters with ample strength to defeat anyone who would do the goddess harm, but enough wisdom to avoid coming to blows if possible. They are often chosen and trained from their youth to serve their purpose.
The Gardeners make sure Obatna'Ra's everyday needs are met. They water the tree in times of draught, supervise the blossoming, rake the fallen leaves and collect the ripe fruit. They tend to the broken branches and fend off the harmful insects, cure any natural afflictions.
The Chief of Rites is a single member in control of the rituals involving the tree and the spiritual connection to the goddess. They are allowed to decide who may take the fruit of Obatna'Ra, and they conduct the initiation of young members into the order. Most often, the Chief of Rites is a member of the Old Ones of Hroth'Moar.
Culture
The Isr Ybröak are well avare of their status. This, on one hand means pride, and demands for respect and authority. On the other hand, they know that their military skills could be misused, thus, their Protectors are not responsible to anyone but the Keeper, thus avoiding the influence of the Old Ones on their warriors. It is expected of each member of the organisation to distance themselves from politics.
While they can be fierce warriors in defending the sacred tree they pledged their lives to, the members of the Isr Ybröak are only ready to reach for their weapons in the time of need. They are not meant to attack, but to defend, to build instead of destroy.
