TUESDAY 10MAR2026 CONTRACT: Two Birds

From your pal, NEON NOMAD:
Hey folks. You sure caused more of a ruckus than anyone would have guessed with your first contract. You stirred up a rat's nest that's taken some doing to calm down, and McConnell-Mayer is still pretty livid. You were smart not to spend too much time at your old place.
Luckily for you, something's come over the wire that can use your doing and will fix your homelessness problem. A group of InterConEx contractors have gotten a bit too 'high volume' in their activities. A punk rock band on the side, 'Citizen Ruin' is made up of a rotating cast of several gun-toting mercs. They recently carried out a non-corporate hit on someone on the seawall of Center Island, which has the authorities and several other private interests more than a little upset.
Citizen Ruin occupies a warehouse in the north of Valcoast. The area is pretty seedy - Mostly warehousing, factories, and other abandoned buildings. You'll find Citizen Ruin's headquarters tucked in between several since closed businesses. It doesn't even have a full address, but can be found down an unmarked road between 400 and 500 Anchorage St. Officially, the warehouse is still owned by the city (well, Argus) but it's had an interesting history: It used to be part of the bordering water treatment plant, but that has since become almost entirely unused now that Argus has centralized it's water treatment elsewhere. The warehouse was leased for awhile, but a foreclosure (and some creative hacking) effectively put the records of ownership and the 'existence' of the property in a blackhole on any major databases.
More importantly for the contract, Citizen Ruin needs to be removed. They've just landed a brand new InterConEx contract that pays handsomely and your sponsors don't want to see it completed. Luckily for you, with their recent success, they've grown sloppy and bold. With the advance from their new contract, they're hosting a large party and concert next Thursday night (9 days from now) at their headquarters. It's invite only, but you may find opportunity in the event. Or don't, I don't care.
Just make sure Citizen Ruin isn't a name I'm going to hear around New Hudson. I don't care if they're dead, just make sure they won't be conducting any more contracts together. The warehouse is yours if they 'choose' to vacate it.
And be careful. Citizen Ruin isn't all song and dance: They're the real deal. I don't suggest a frontal assault unless you've got more cars to blow up.
Kindly,
NEON NOMAD
