SUNDAY 22MAR2026 CONTRACT: Printhead Adjustment Needed

From your pal, NEON NOMAD:
Symbiant has a subsidiary company in Upstate New Hudson currently working on a pilot manufacturing line for a new drug. Details are scarce on what, exactly, the line is intended to produce, but we can assume it is some overpriced, designer pill for the rich and famous. Or some new crack to spread in the ghetto. Pick whichever motivates you.
The subidiary is "Relatek Inc.", but most of the branding on the building and facility is for Symbiant. Just might help to know their name for your research, not that you have a lot of time. Relatek is located in Vestamton, New Hudson, almost four hours upstate. My team has been unable to do much research on their manufacturing facility. So far, I can tell you that Relatek was independent up until the collapse, when they were bought out by Symbiant. The plant seemed to be where they manufactured some kind of antidepressant drug (probably for easy distribution into Upstate) but the government banned it's use two years ago. In the past 8 months, there's been something of a resurgence of activity and the plant is undergoing heavy renovation into some kind of pilot facility somewhere between research and full-scale manufacturing. It's a relatively small facility, but there's not much around it, so you'll find it hard to blend in unless you look good in orange camo and drinking Bubwiders.
An InterConEx contract hit with a high priority in the wee hours last night - Someone wants the printheads going into the main pill printer of the line. It looks like the plant is some weeks from being up and running. There's only reportedly a skeleton crew running the actual plant, but there's a decent amount of construction and increasing security. What's odd, and what makes this contract valuable, are these printheads: Apparently, nothing like this tech has been used commercially before. The heads can jet to nanometer accuracy with drug droplets controlled nearly down to the molecular level. There's three heads in the main printer due to be delivered tomorrow morning just before lunchtime. The partner (Joxer) delivering the heads reportedly rented and armored car and will depart with the heads early in the morning.
The plan, as far as the contract issuer or my team can gather, is that they'll immediately install the heads that afternoon and work into the evening to install the machine. Once they're complete, they'll lock down the machine tightly. From what we can gather, you could still get the heads after that if you had to, but you'll need some technical know-how to get them out undamaged.
The contract wants all three heads undamaged, but wants it to look like an accident or sabotage. While a lengthy investigation may turn up the heads as missing, they state they want at least a week or two before Symbiant realizes the heads have been stolen instead of destroyed.
How you get the heads is on you. As mentioned, there is an armored convoy carrying them to the site, and that's absolutely possible to intercept. Installation will take most of the afternoon and evening, but expect a higher security presence. After that, you'd have to break into the machine. The contract expires next Monday, when the pilot line is expected to run through it's initial trials. Once you have the heads, leave them in some portable, street-safe case or bag in your van and park it in front of Gregorio's by Wednesday, 8pm.
You'll find $1500 in the envelope for your first job. I know you were expecting more, but trust that I have taken care of any outstanding bills and done the needfuls to cover up your last missions as best I could. Split it among yourselves. Further payment will follow.
I hope you can assemble quickly for this contract, I accepted it on your behalf expecting you'll be able to deliver. Continued success is crucial for our ongoing relationship. I need not remind you that there's been some difficulties with InterConEx, as you found out with Citizen Ruin.
Kindly,
NEON NOMAD
