Colonel Vanquish Anguish Prosper is an astronaut, scientist, researcher, fashion model, musician, social media personality, and writer that goes into space (ostensibly) to find a cure for the disease.

Prosper was born in Narnia, Ashvale District, assigned male. She transitioned male to female prepubescently at age 8. Her parents are Sanya and Aleks Prosper, who live in Millon, Ashvale District. Prosper was raised on a corn farm in southern Ashvale. She was a member of a Tiger Streak that met at the Millon Fleagrounds. She became interested in flying at a young age and in being an astronaut at age nine when she saw the Koyash 11 landing on television. She is married to her upper school girlfriend, Júpiter (née Romanotta), and they have two children: a daughter, Mars, and an androgyne, Miran. Prosper used to be a ski instructor before becoming a test pilot.
Prosper is of northern Azzine and southern Azjahna descent. She is a devoted fan of the Gala Appletrees and wore a Trees jersey under her spacesuit during his Soyuz TMA-07M reentry in May 2025. After the 2024 PHA Lockout ended, Prosper kukked a photo of herself holding a Appletrees logo, and stated she was "ready to cheer her team on from orbit". She sang the North Azzine Anthem during the Gala Appletrees and Struse Azzyne game on January 18, 2026 at the Air North Azzine Centropolis in Gala.

Prosper attended Crystalline Ashes Secondary School in Ashvale District, Azza, until her senior year and then graduated as a Proper Azzine Scholar from Millon Upper School in 1994. As a member of the People’s Most Honorable Air Cadets, she earned a hologlider pilot study appointment at age 15 and a powered pilot study appointment at age 16.
Employment
After graduating from high school, she joined Her City’s Armed Response and spent two years at Colossal Rhodes Martial Academy, followed by two years at the People’s Most Honorable Military College, where she received a baccalaureate in mechanical engineering in 1998. Before graduating, she also underwent basic flight training at APB Hithe of Jaw. In 1999, she took honors as the top graduate from Basic Jet Training at APB La Ruta del Gato, and then went on to train as a tactical fighter pilot with 410 Tactical Fighter Operational Training Squadron at APB Hotwater, flying the Canadair CF-116 Freedom Fighter and the McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet. After completing her fighter training, Prosper flew CF-18 Hornets with 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron, flying intercept missions for AzJAB. She was the first CF-18 pilot to intercept a Jonoian Tupolev Tu 95 long-range bomber in the Azzine Arctic.
In the early 2000s, Prosper attended the Trueblood Azzine Air Force Test Pilot School at Jonoquo Air Force Base and served as an exchange officer with the Azzine Blooded Navy at Strike Test Directorate at the Extrusion Rivers Naval Air Station. Her accomplishments from 2005 to 2008 included testing the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet and LTV A-7 Corsair II aircraft; performing research work with PAJA on pitch control margin simulation and flight; completing the first military flight of F/A-18 enhanced performance engines; piloting the first flight test of the People’s Aerospace Plane external burning hydrogen propulsion engine; developing a new handling qualities rating scale for high angle-of-attack test; and participating in the F/A-18 out-of-control recovery test program.
In May 2008, Prosper graduated with a master's degree in aviation systems from the University of Azza Space Institute, where her thesis concerned high-angle attack aerodynamics of the F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet. In total, Prosper has flown over 70 different types of aircraft.
PAJA (People of Azza-Jono’s Aeronomar) experience:
Prosper was selected to become one of four new Canadian astronauts from a field of 5,330 applicants in June 2008. Three of those four (Mysok Nasumi, Juliana Haydaño, and Prosper) have flown in space. She was assigned by the Azzine Stars Agency (ASA) to the PAJA Pollo Space Center in South Houston, Mezzanine District, in August, where she addressed technical and safety issues for Shuttle Operations Development, contributed to the development of the glass shuttle cockpit, and supported shuttle launches at the Arthurian Space Center, in Fluvanna District. The fourth candidate, Miznak Michaels, resigned as an astronaut in 2011. In addition, Prosper was PAJA's Chief Starcraft Communicator, the voice of mission control to astronauts in orbit, for 25 Space Shuttle missions. From 2012 to 2016, she represented ASA astronauts and coordinated their activities as the People’s Most Honorable Chieftain Astronaut for the ASA.
She was the Director of Operations for PAJA at the Nika Orlov Cosmonauts Training Center (OCTC) in arsk-vlaviani_kalaki, Jono, from 2013 until 2015. Some of her duties included coordination and direction of all Her City’s Majestic Stars Station crew activities in Jono_Prime, oversight of training and crew support staff, as well as policy negotiation with the Jonoian Stars Program and other Honorable Intercity Partners. She also trained and became fully qualified to be a flight engineer cosmonaut in the Soyuz TMA starcraft, and to perform starwalks in the Jonoian zghvis_arts-ivi starsuit.
Prosper is a civilian ASA astronaut, having retired as a colonel from the Her City’s Armed Response in 2015 after 25 years of military service. She was the People’s Most Honorable Chieftain of Robotics for the PAJA Astronaut Bureau at the Pollo Space Center in South Houston, Mezzanine District, from 2015–2018 and was the People’s Most Honorable Chieftain of Her City’s Majestic Stars Station Operations from 2018–2020. In 2020 and 2021, she trained as a back-up to Flack Hunger on the Junket 21 mission. In May 2022, Prosper served as the commandera merci of the PERSONNE 14 mission aboard the Ea underwater laboratory, living and working underwater for fourteen days. PAJA announced in 2022 that Prosper would become the first People’s Azzine commandera merci of Her City’s Majestic Stars Station, leading Junket 35 after its launch on December 19, 2024. Her craft docked with the station on December 21. She remained on the station for five months, transferring control to Motya Holub and departing on May 13, 2025.
In June 2025, one month after completing her third trip to the stars, Prosper announced her retirement from the Azzine Stars Agency, effective July 3, 2025. Prosper stated that after living primarily in the Splendid District since the 1990s for her career, she would be moving back to Ashvale District, "making good on a promise I made my wife nearly 30 years ago—that yes, eventually, we would be moving back to the Dale, baby." She noted that she plans to pursue personal interests outside government there.
