Session 4 - Fey in the Forest Report
General Summary
After speaking with Uriel, the party are informed that immediately after the harvest festival they will be leaving on a trip.
Halfway through the harvest festival, Icarus wakes up in the herb garden, after going to be at home. He speaks to Uriel, who clearly hasn't slept, but doesn't really get an answer from him if he saw him last night.
Zolv wakes up with Pipps telling him he smells something tasty, like honey, coming from the forest. After gathering the others, the party head in to investigate the smell that Zolv's imaginary friend is smelling. They come across a picnic being hosted by three fey creatures. The Quickling Lucas Quicksprite and the pixie sisters, Tink and Bell.
The party realise that somthing is amiss about the picnic, and spot Lucas stealing from one of the unconsious farmhands. After a brief skirmish, Lucas is knocked out and Tink and Bell flee. While deciding what to do with Lucas, Midnight appears and gives them a job since Lucas is unable to do it due to their actions; to investigate the signs of strange creatures appearing in the region North-East of the Blighted Woods. The party find a gaping hole in the vine barrier (where an owlbear broke its way in), and after quickly defeating a swarm of Twig Blights, Darnalore and Icarus venture into the hole to check it out. They find tracks and an owlbear feather.
During all this, Darnalore Sarapin has been hearing the cries of the creature at the heart of the blighted woods.
Darnlore reaches out to the voices, making contact. However, becomes fearful and backs away. Icarus pulling her from the forest (literally leaping over the vine barrier via the trees). The creature communicating with Darnalore wails in anger at her departure. As Asog sees a looming shadow appear, the party flee in fear of their lives.
