Lolth
Lolth is a goddess of cold cruelty, reveling in betrayal and bloodshed and toying with everyone from her minions to her victims. She not only enjoys, but thrives upon torture, destruction and death. Every interaction is ultimately done with malice, and even those who know her well can still be surprised by just how deep her viciousness goes. Her malice is complicated and deliberate.
As one of Maugan-Ra's children, she holds the title of Demon Prince, but she has always viewed that title as beneath her, considering herself a queen by all rights. As such, all those she commands and holds sway over, are commanded to call her a Queen. She is constantly seeking to add new races, people and creatures under her dominion.

In recent years, Lolth has slowly been spreading her influence amongst the drow. Little by little, forcing them to worship her instead of their 'other' gods. While a large number of drow still refuse to acknowledge her, those that accept her are incredibly devote in their worship of her. Both out of reverance and awe, as well as fear. Lolth demands absolute featly and obedience from all drow, since she has now claimed them as her own. Those that rebute her, question her motives or wisdom are codemned as sinners.
She favors female drow above the males, considering the men to be unclean. Despite this opinion of the men, she was particularly vengeful should any of them abandon their faith in her, or otherwise question her tenants and laws. As a result of this favour, drow communities that worship Lolth are ruled by the women; in particular those deemed to be her priestesses. Despite her demands for loyalty, those who blindly obey Lolth's demands will find themselves quickly led to their deaths. Her capricious nature means that there are few hard-and-fast rules, and much uncertainty as to her desires. Her favour is fickle, and those seeking to earn it have to pay close attention to her ever-changing wants, and those who she played favourties with would eventually and inevitably find her turning on them without warning.
The Spider Queen is capable of displays of kindness, aiding those she fancied, and would give one chance for the disfavoured to redeem themselves. Often, giving them dangerous missions that would more than likely kill them. But those that succeeded would likely earn her favour back; albeit for an uncertain amount of time.
