Dragon

A wide variety of Dragons exist, generally each species of dragon has unique traits, behaviours and personalities. Some are are more beast like, while others display great intelligence and even the capability to learn and cast magical spells. Even the smallest and youngest of dragons can be incredibly dangerous to the average person, so should always be treated with the respect and caution that they deserve.
A large host of dragons, the iconic ones that are mentioned in tales of legend to which any commonfolk or noble would think of when the word 'dragon' is mention to them, are the ones with a powerful breath they can unleash as a powerful natural weapon upon prey and would be predators alike. This breath weapon, along with their large, powerful builds and sharp fangs and claws, along with their high intelligence and capability of flight and resistance to extreme environments (based on their type) makes them dangerous foes and apex predators that even the most seasoned group of warriors should be wary of. Scholars typically refer to this iconic type of dragon as True Dragons.

Some dragons have ascended to godhood and joined the Draconic Pantheon, serving under their respective leaders to carry out their will.
