Albion

The capital city of the Artorigan Empire, Albion is the seat of power of the imperial government and one of the largest cities in the world.

Government

As it is the capital of the empire itself, both the imperial palace and the Magisters' Council find their home in Albion. Decisions made in the halls of the council affect policy throughout the rest of the empire.

History

The city of Albion was founded long ago by warrior monks to Zenith in order to protect an important temple to the Zenithain faith. What were once the defenders of the faith of a pious city-state, however, evolved into the group now known as the Knights of Zenith, who quickly established their dominance as the city's ruling class and their commander: Artorigus I, was declared King of the city, before spreading out his territory to unite the northern regions of the continent.
