Taking up the cursed blade Frostmourne, she took revenge against those who had spread the plague. But the blade had corrupted her further, driving her into the service of the Lich King itself. Calia murdered Terenas, defiled the Sunwell of Quel'thalas, and summoned Archimonde, a demon lord of the Burning Legion and left hand of Sargeras who would then go on to destroy Dalaran, the city of Magi.   The survivors of each travesty fled across the sea to the mostly unexplored continent of Kalimdor - the Alliance led by Jaden Proudmoore, and the Horde by Warchief Thrall.

Soon, Mannoroth himself found them out and the battle had commenced.  With Grommash striking the final blow into the chest of Mannoroth, it resulted in an explosion of hellish Fel fire as the body of the demon was destroyed, taking the life of Grommash. With the death of the demon, the demon's blood coursing through the orcs had been vanquished, and they had finally been freed from their blood curse.

Garrosh Hellscream, son of Grommash Hellscream and celebrated veteran of Northrend, demands to become Warchief in recognition for his accomplishments in his campaign in Northrend. An argument ensued between Garrosh and Tauren Chieftan, Cairne Bloodhoof, but the argument was quickly ended by Grubu Slackjaw, once a simple grunt now advisor to Thrall.   Grubu brought to attention that Garrosh was not worthy to hold the Hellscream name, for his father would have had more honor than to demand petty recognition. In anger, Garrosh began to taunt Grubu into challenging him to a Mak'gora, which Grubu eventually did. Grubu Slackjaw donned the mantle of Warchief after his grueling victory against Garrosh Hellscream in single combat bounded by a single rule - no usage of the Elements.

Warchief Grubu temporarily stepped down from the mantle of Warchief to investigate the reasons for the disappearances following an attack directly in his stronghold by one of the aforementioned.   Seemingly from nowhere, cities were attacked by dark gray dragons pulsing with blue-cracked veins, with Ironforge suffering the most damage. The attacks repelled, and just as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared. Three adventurers, Bradley⁣, Asbjorn Bjornson Oringr , and Aurelionar arrived and decreed that the disappearances and the attacks were finally over. This event would later be known as The Infinite Attacks and The Birth of Dragon-Slaying.

    Failure to comply
    Political event

Outrage bellowed from within the Horde and Alliance, not against one another, but instead the debates of those against the act of Dragon-Slaying and those who demand it as a right for protection. Arguments for those against slaying, include Asbjorn Bjornson Oringr and Bradley. Arguments in favor of Dragon-Slaying included the voices of the refugees and soldiers who over the last two decades suffered the most from the interactions between mortals and dragons, whether directly or indirectly. Dragon-Slayers were seen as victims wanting justice for what happened to their lives and avenge those who lost theirs. Many of the Slayers were affected by the The Cataclysm and The Infinite Attacks, and a handful still remember the dragon's involvement in the First, Second, and Third war - wars that resulted in enumerable causalities by dragon fire.   Just as Varian Wrynn, Grubu Slackjaw, and other represenatives were about to pass an agreement to outlaw Dragon-Slaying, a dramatic increase in attacks by hyper-aggressive dragons from various flights spread across Azeroth. A new agreement was reached and Dragon-Slaying would become an official, certifiable profession to the celebration of many.
