Azeroth

A world plagued by thousands of years of war, scars, and death. Azeroth has been home to multiple catastrophic events that threatened to destroy all that caught in its way of destruction. But, it has also been home to beauty, growth, and life. For every civilization that fell, another one is built even taller and stronger than before, as a sign of fortitude. But between the duality that lends Azeroth its beauty and mystique, lies the very drive of the world's most historic events, War. For every battle, there is the spark for a new alliance. For every alliance, friction is caused by neighboring territories. For every territory, there is more land, food, and resource to bolster their alliance, but likewise, strengthens their enemies.   Five years have passed since the Cataclysm, and since then the world has been torn asunder. Following the Cataclysm, an unknown dragon-flight began to sporadically and violently attack cities and towns across Azeroth, leaving many political powers on shaky platforms as what to do about resources, repairs, and the possibility for a new war.   Dragon-Slaying, a new official occupation surfaced within these last years, and it has now been recognized by the public as the new protectors of Azeroth and in response against increased wild dragon attacks. Even those who had once defended against killing dragons could no longer go against it, fearing the risk of turning their backs on the ones suffering from these attacks. Seemingly, dragons that were once thought to be peaceful have begun to attack mortal civilization, stoking the fires that would grow into a war between Dragons and Dragon-Slayers.
