Kensor Hold
Government
Being mostly a military encampment composed of primarily soldiers and commoners supporting the logistics of the base, all law and governance are maintained through the lord of the hold, the commander of the base's military might.
Defences
Situated on the western side of the Rylic River and just south of a tributary that flows into it, the hold maintains a natural defensive barrier where the only crossable areas are through the fortified gatehouse drawbridges themselves. Large stone walls follow along the edges of the rivers and circle around the hold itself. The fortified hold sits within an interior set of walls, slightly raised higher than the surrounding area.
Infrastructure
As a military base, only the essentials for logistical support are built in the area or within the hold. These include stables, blacksmiths, barracks, training yards, etc.
Architecture
One of the many forts throughout the Empire of Embrith, Kensor Hold follows the standardized design of the Empire. Regimented, squared, high-density designs are sought after in all development projects in the Empire with the idea that it will aid in ease of maintenance and governance while invoking a law-abiding respectful environment for all.
Natural Resources
Not many resources can be found in the immediate proximity of the hold, however, there are quite a large amount of fish in the Rylic as well as some hunting grounds within the nearby forested areas.
