Wintersee (WIHN-ter-see)

Nestled in the shadow of Land's End Mountain is the tiny hamlet of Wintersee. Polira's northernmost settlement, the hamlet is little more than a permanent logging camp. All told, there are about a dozen dwellings, a small public house, and an all-purpose shelter that serves as both temple and community meetingplace.
Founded in the fifth century AS, it was one of the last outposts to be created during the "Gression Wagon" migration boom. The hamlet is primarily dependent on lumber, which is plentiful, for its industry, but the extreme northern locale has dissuaded all but the heartiest of settlers to move there.
