"The streets of the expanded areas, where a thousand years before plains stretched across the horizon, vibrated with the fast pace of life in one of the most important archipelago capitals. (...) And I, who had always thought that Yermitonne would be more conservative than Esteltonne, had been surprised by creative light systems, colorful and bold advertisements and gleaming towers. The conservatism I had encountered had been in the treatment among the nobles in the casino, but even the topics of conversation had not been conventional in scope. (...) but seeing the city from the back of Daya shortly after midnight, when life bursted, was astonishing. The skyline was a light show created by the mirrored towers, the airways, the dragons mirroring the light play of advertising illusions, the colorful smoke clouds laden with various scents as the product of worn circles, the incessant movement... In the background, the castle (of Knowledge) on the hill was illuminated by a game of swirling colored lights. It was impressive!"
