Alliance of Ellys
Peace was upon the land.
The Goddesses on Land, Manos – Goddess of Nature – and Nanos – Goddess of Mind –, lived among the mortals down on the land, as their rulers. Both Manos and Nanos were Goddess Empress of Az Barnuá and Mar Démista and sat on the throne in Leddíntonne, the capital of the Isle of Root. They both fell in love with mortals and with them generated offspring, children who were as imortal as Gods and as heartfelt as mortals – Demigods.
But from deep envy a powerful dark entity arose. She was called Mynalguimor, the Lady of Darkness. Her greed led her to kill Nanos, the Goddess of Mind, and forgetfulness fell upon the land and mortals could no longer access the Magic Language nor the memories of the distant past. Not content, the Lady of Darkness went on and killed the Goddess of Nature, too, and no longer was Azberná the beautiful paradise it once was. A dark age had befell the land, and there was war.
To stop the darkness from spreading over the land, the heiress of the Goddesses, Empress of Azberná Braëla Manos, Deity of Nature, confronted Mynalguimor. But alone, she was not enough. And so, she sought allies across the magic archipelago to help her in the war against Mynalguimor and the Darkness.
Thus, the Alliance of Ellys was created.
Unfortunately, Empress Braëla Manos succumbed in the war and the Dark Period began. For twenty years, Mynalguimor ruled over Azberná as Empress. Until Braëla’s heiress finally appeared. She was Margaíhza Mabylte Manos, Deity of Light, and together with her husband, Pietrum Nanos, Deity of Enlightenment, she conquered the throne back to the Alliance of Ellys, and the alliance grew even further.
